Randall Reid-Smith, Curator for the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History, stopped by Moundsville Middle School to present a check to the Trojan Music Department.

Moundsville Middle School is one of nine schools being supported through the VH1 Save the Music Foundation for the 2023 – 2024 school year. This grant provided nearly $40,000 worth of instruments, equipment and supplies for the music programs at the school.

As of July 1, 2023, 138 schools in all 55 counties will have been funded to the “tune” of $5,520,000.00.
