Middle School Students Help Beautify Local Park

For the second year in a row, Moundsville Middle School students teamed with community members to learn how to clean up and take care of their neighborhood spaces.

Students, faculty and staff worked with employees from Grand Vue to teach students about community service and keeping their surroundings clean. Students cleaned bird feeders, weeded sidewalks, filled mulch, cleaned pavilion spaces and scrubbed playground equipment.

This event was created and maintained by the Moundsville Middle School Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) team in hopes to create positive community interactions for the students through a partnership with Grand Vue, AEP and Citywide Insurance & Real Estate.
