The Moundsville MIddle School Technology Student Association (TSA)

According to their national registry, "The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national, non-profit organization of middle and high school students who are engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Since TSA was chartered in 1978, almost 4,000,000 student members have participated through competitions, intracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, community service, and more."The Technology Student Association (TSA) provides student members the opportunity to explore a wide variety of (science, technology, engineering, and math) STEM career interest areas.

Participation in TSA competitions allows TSA members to apply technology and engineering skills in challenging and innovative ways. Working individually or as a team, student members are motivated by the inspiration and enthusiasm gained from being recognized for the successful application of those skills. The Technology Student Association begins meeting once a week after school in the Fall to work on competitions. The State Conference takes place at the end of March at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV.

At Moundsville Middle School, the TSA is organized and run by Mrs. Lynch.
